Very well located, we were in a room facing an inner courtyard so very quiet. Clean and tidy.
Somewhat somber. Difficult to arrive at the parking place since in fact you check in in a nearby hostel, you park at another place and the Arte Vida Suites are the thrid location you need to find. Not easy in the small centre streets of Granada but very close to each other.
The staff were wonderful! very helpful always with an excellent location.
The location was good and the apartment was quiet.
The apartment was very cold when we arrived and it took several hours before the manager could fix the heating. The shutters of most windows could not be opened, so the apatment was rather dark.
Great location in a quiet area but with convenient foot access to the new and old city and the Alhambra. Marissa a lovely host, check in a straight forward and easy process at the nearby hostel. Generous space with great light and good furniture. Generally very quiet (on a side street) but windows very thin so any noise outside did come right in.
No dishwashing detergent supplied, safe appears to use the same swipe card as your room but did not work, the fire alarm went off one night and there was seemingly no action from the staff until they were phoned.
When you have found your way round the city 1 way system the location is fab great to stay in an appartment even though we only had breakfast there
everything, access, checking in different location not being earlier informed, standing on dark street waiting for reception to show up... horrible
The apartment was in a fantastic location close to amenities and tourist destinations. Check-in was about a 2 minute walk away, with the car park in a third location, also very close nearby. The decor was a little dated but not 'worn-out'. The kitchen had plenty of appliances including a washing machine, and was well stocked with cutlery etc. The bedroom was reasonably sized and had a ceiling fan. There was plenty of natural light. The room was cleaned and beds were made each day.
There was a terrible smell in the bathroom. The bathroom had two doors, one into the bedroom and one to the hallway. As a result the smell was very evident in both rooms and at times was extremely unpleasant. The TV did not work (it did not switch on at all). We mentioned it to the staff in the hostel (check-in) and although they said that they would look into it, there was no evidence of that having happened. The 'double' bed that we had booked was in fact two single beds, with completely separate sheets and covers, and only a shared headboard. We had to ask at check-in for the WiFi password. There was some reluctance in giving this to us and we we offered an ethernet cable, but as we could not use that, we were given the password.
It was a very peaceful, clean and had everything we were looking for and more.
Beautiful apartments. You feel at the hotel like at the art gallery. Just in the city center. Large rooms. The staff is very friendly. Pablo explained us how to make the city tour more efficient. If you are three and more - it is better to take taxi (5 euro) instead of the bus No 30 to Alhambra (1.20 for a person). We had no time to explore the SPA.
Poor internet, the kitchen and the bathroom are very small.
Very clean and comfortable. We loved it. Classic Andalus decor and shutters which shaded us, when wanted, from the glare of hot midday July sun. Air con: excellent. Little old-city cobbledstreet outside was not wide enough for cars which was brilliant because of wonderful peace and quiet despite city centre location in easy walking distance of all historic old-city and to Plaza Nueva for the bus up to the Alhambra. We did Granada Cordoba and Seville by intercity bus and had no drive/park stress whatever. Owner Manager Pablo very helpful on any advice locally or anything else we wanted. His English is good and anything you want just ask - he is not a mind reader, but most intelligent. We would stay here again if in Granada. Dr k and Mrs g Harris Devon uk
Perfect location, close to Alhambra and Albicin / Sacromonte district. Good value for money.
We had problems with finding the premise since there are many little streets called San Matias, and gps couldn't find the right one. The reserved parking at the Hesperia hotel is close to Arte Vida which is good, however the assigned lots are very small, and unexperienced drivers might have serious issues with parking.
Very helpful staff members! Contacted me in advance to explain how to reach the hotel. Also explained how to do get to certain areas in town, including Alhambra and busy squares. Hotel is in the centre of town and everything is easy accessable. Rooms were big enough and has nice kitchen to use.
4 people to sleep on beds and 2 on sleeper couch. The couch was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. Management did indicate that this was in pipeline so just enquire if this has been done for future. Parking is also right below the hotel in the middle of town, but it is very difficult to manouvre with vehicles in the tight streets and parking bays, so if not comfortable to drive in tight spaces rather avoid the parking bay and take other transport or park just outside centre. Otherwise very recommendable!
Very comfortable, stylish apartments. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
The view form the hotel, its interior and garden, the welcoming of the receptionist and the home made breakfast
The smell of the wc although its clean; and the fact that you should climb many stairs up to the city (easy for young people)
The location was near to the shopping areas and the other facilities
Also the location was really very hard to find since it was in a small street, and the lobby is very small and not comfortable, the check in and check out took away longer than requiered,,,,
